I just received a bad news yesterday. One of my lecturers has passed away due to cancer. Not sure what type of cancer, but for sure it isn’t Mesothelioma cancer. I never expected that he will leave this world so fast and I didn’t even have the chance to visit him for the last time. Talk about regret.
With this incident, I thought of sinking myself with cancer related movie. Through research, I found the following list.
Ikiru (1952)
Telling the story of Kanju Watanabe ,whom had a stomach cancer, in finding the meaning of life during his final days
My Life Without Me (2003)
Story of a young woman at early twenties and how she has to deal with the sudden news of her having a terminal stomach cancer.
My Life (1993)
Played by Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman, My Life tells the story of a soon-to-be a Dad that is sentenced for having cancer.
Cleo From 5-7 (1962)
Story of a French singer named Cleo who travels around Paris while feeling afraid of getting the test result from the doctor.
Forrest Gump (1994)
Probably the best movie from Tom Hanks. The touching scene is when Sally talks to Forrest when she is laying on the death bed.
