Tom Hanks is back with the sequel of The Da Vinci Code named Angels & Demons. This 2009 drama mystery movie is also derived from Dan Brown’s novel. So, don’t put high expectation on this 2 Hours 19 Minutes movie if you have read the novel. Many of my friends who have watched Angels and Demons said that, there is lots of details and important point missing from the movie. Expected.
There is some tweaking at the beginning of the story so that it is related to The Da Vinci Code. After all, this is set to be the sequel of The Da Vinci Code – this drama mystery is pretty amusing to me and I regret that I watched it. Anyway, I wonder if we will see Angels and Demons in video game for PS3 or Xbox, since there is The Da Vinci Code video game although it is not related to the movie.
Angels and Demons tells the story of Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks). The well-known Harvard symbologist is investigating on a murder victim related with the Illuminati ambigram. Through the investigation process, he finds out there is a cult group is on a trail to murder four cardinals and destroy the St. Peter’s Basilica during a papal gathering.
The movie plot sounds pretty confusing to me. Not the kind of movie that I will watch after all this stressful days and works
