I told my friend about my upcoming island trip, and she asked,”Do you know the beautiful beach in Boracay, Philippines?” I was amused and soon she told me about Romantic Island, a Korean movie which was filming in Manila and Boracay (Philippines). So, there you go, she borrowed me the DVD. I watched it while doing research about San Diego dental crowns and the fee.
The romantic Korean movie is starring Eugene a.k.a Kim Yu-jin (remember her role in Three Dads One Mom?) and Lee Min-ki (the handsome Kang Tae Bong in Dal Ja’s Spring) as the main cast.
It tells a story of 6 adults whom went for a vacation to Boracay to escape from problems and daily routine. The vacation turns up to be a memorable one, which brings a powerful impact to their life and leads them to find love. Story is not so great but the Boracay’s scenery is just… oh so wonderful. The white sand, clean beach, blue clear seawater, can refer to it as paradise. For a while, it looks somewhat like Redang island (Malaysia). Since the movie was released around December 2008, there was a fireworks scene to celebrate the New Year 2009.
