Rachel Getting Married, a 2008 romance drama movie, is about Kym (Anne Hathaway), a young woman that has just come out from the rehab, after so many times of going in the rehab in the past 10 years. She returns home for her sister’s wedding – Rachel (Rosemarie Dewitt).

Kym is mad to her sister, Rachel, for not taking her as the maid of honor but Emma (Anisa George). After an argumentation, Rachel listens to Kym’s words and asks Emma to step down from the maid of honor position. That little action itself has set a grudge towards Kym in Emma’s heart.
Kym feels like an outsiders and has no one to talk to during the wedding rehearsal reception. She is the last to give testimonial. That’s when she shares her rehab’s story and apologizes to Rachel and everyone for causing any harm on them.
During the argumentation between Rachel and Kym, we learn that Rachel is pregnant. Another revealing thing, Kim was 16 years old when she had a car accident because high on pills and that accident actually killed Ethan, her younger brother, whom she was baby sitting.
Their father, Paul, has a 2 minutes dish washing challenge with Sidney, Rachel’s fiance. Paul asks for more dishes as he still has 15 seconds. But he stops as the dishes is one that Ethan made. He loses the bet and Kym gets mad with herself cause of accidentally passing that out that dishes.
Kym goes to Abby’s house (her mother whom has divorced from Paul) and confronts her of why did she left the family. In returns, Kym gets a slap on her face and her car smacks into a tree while she is driving back home.
What is the ending of Bedtime Stories?
Kym manages to get back home the next day with the help of a friendly tow-trucker. Rachel is finally marrying Sidney whom sings the chorus of Unknown Legend – a song by Neil Young. And Kym gets back to the rehab on the next day.
