Movie Soundtrack

What makes a movie great (to me) isn’t just the storyline, the well-played character, the overall scene, but also what you hear – the music or better known as soundtrack. Not seldom the song will then be played in the radio until it is planted in your mind. It will then lead you to either download or purchase the CDs or even learn to play the tune and buy ebow for guitar. Talk about hardcore fans or the power of marketing. Hah!

Well, do you have any particular soundtrack from a movie that you like?

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

One thing that has always amuse me is not about gps tracking for trucks, but why recent movies of Nicolas Cage don’t have a good quality or interesting at all. Don’t you think so? It’s either the storyline that doesn’t have quality or his character that is.. well, decent, nothing special. To name a few, Drive Angry and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. But after all, this is just my personal opinion. I just thought he should be more picky in choosing his next character/movie.

The sequel of Ghost Rider (2007), Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will hit the cinema in 2012. Watch a glimpse of Johnny Blaze’s adventure in the following trailer.

The Iron Lady

in Drama

Novel or chic-lit that is filmed into movie is not a strange thing. But since we’re talking about summarizing the whole book (let alone those book with series) into 120 minutes or less, the story in the movie won’t be as compelling as it is in novel/book format. Sometimes the essence is delivered in a right way, sometimes not.

When it comes to someone’s biography being filmed into a two hours movie, hmmm… I’m not sure the movie’s storyline gonna turns out, but worth a try to watch, such as The Devil’s Double. The movie isn’t that compelling but it intrigues you to be curious and wanting to buy the book from black Friday best buy section for a detailed story.

Coming soon in 2012 is The Iron Lady, about the life of Margaret Thatcher. Who doesn’t know her? The former Prime Minister of UK. Actress Meryl Streep played as Margaret Thatcher. Watch the trailer below, it seems pretty interesting.

When talking about gifts, what comes to your mind? A bouquet of flowers, jewelry, cake, computer game, etc? Any of you think about food gifts, such as a basket of cookies and chocolates or Full Dozen Autumn Berries? If not, you’re definitely missing something.

I know it’s always great to give something that can be kept over the year and look back as memory. But sometimes, gourmet gifts will be great too! Just make sure you know what the preference of the recipients.
