It was a gloomy Friday morning. Doesn’t seem to be the going-to-rain kind of gloomy but because of the annual haze from some burnt-forest in southern Sumatra. TV was turn on to a news channel and it was reported that MJ, the king of pop, has just passed away.
It was a very short line but enough to awake me. Real shock that I almost dropped down clamps, the industrial products that used to secure objects tightly, from my hand. And soon, radio kept on playing MJ’s songs and almost everyone has been updating their facebook status with condolence to MJ’s family.
It almost overshadow the death news of actress Farrah Fawcett (Charlie’s Angels in 1970s), who has been struggling with cancer for 2 years.
The world has lost a great singer (a legend and an icon) and a great actress. May they rest in peace.
