When Rapunzel hits the cinema, everyone is so crazy about it. Not just kids but also adult. It’s not a surprise, consider many adults grew up with Rapunzel, Snow White, and other Disney princesses.

Aside from those, my other favorite is Little Red Riding Hood by the Brothers Grimm. Remember the bad ugly wolf with dark circle that pretends to be Red Riding Hood’s grandma by wearing her clothes?

Well, this childhood story is somewhat being adapted to movie titles Red Riding Hood, carrying the feel of Twilight. Amanda Seyfried is the main cast here as red riding hood.

Woohoo… I can feel the smell of Halloween around the corner, the trick or treat day is getting nearer. Have you plan any program or event for the day? Maybe dressing up in costume, applying acne products on face and hang out at clubs with your friends? Or maybe something simpler like watching horror movie at the comfort of home with your love one. September is the month that shouldn’t be missed out by Resident Evil’s enthusiasts. Yeap, the video game series will once more making a hit in the big screen. The fourth installment is going to be released in 3D. Oh well, which fiction movie doesn’t go with 3D version?

I’m gonna pass this movie as I’m not a video game enthusiast. Only get to play tetris, super Mario and lately some children game on Wii, tested it cause my younger cousin bought wii accessories during the birthday.

Let’s do a voting of who doesn’t afraid of the dark. I’m sure there’s many like me who can’t be friend with darkness and prefer to stay in orthopedic mattress when there is no light. But if you say you can, that’s a good news, maybe you are the next Kim in the horror movie Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. If the title sounds familiar to you, that’s because it’s a remake from a 1973 TV series with the same title.

In the 2011 version, Katie Holmes will play as Kim. Bailee Madisonwho plays as little girl Sally Hurst who moves in with her father and his girlfriend. She then learns about other creatures living in their house.

The ending of the trailer is quite creepy. Go watch it here and prepare to be frighten out.

Do you love thriller with action kind of movie? Dark scene with metal buildings everywhere? You gotta watch this Swedish-made movie then. The Girl Who Played with Fire or Flickan som lekte med elden in Swedish is taken from a best-selling novel with the same title. The film has been released in most of the Europe’s countries on September last year. It will be starring in USA cinema on this July.

The story starts from Lisbeth Salander (by Noomi Rapace) who comes back to Sweden from abroad. The girl is suspected for a triple murder case, with a journalist, his girlfriend and her guardian as her victims. Mikael Blomkvist (by Michael Nyqvist) has the job to find Lisbeth before authority does.
