Oh well who doesn’t know Lindsay Lohan and Mean Girls movie back in year 2004? If you are in your 20s, I believe that you at least ever heard about it. Early 2000 was the peek time for Lindsay Lohan’s career along with other Disney’s actress like Hillary Duff.

Stepping into the new year 2011, they are back with Mean Girls 2. I was picturing Lohan with bob revolution stroller along with other hot momma. Scratch that, it’s still about school time. Watch the trailer below.

Last weekend is filled with outings and shopping, from fitness equipment to DVDs, both American movies and Korean dramas.

One of the DVDs that I bought is the romantic comedy movie – The Ugly Truth. Okay, call me weird for choosing a rom-com to be watched on Halloween’s day instead of a horror movie. I just don’t want to frighten myself out with sleepless night after watching horror scary movie like the Saw VI. Better feed myself with laughter from The Ugly Truth.

I just watched Monsters vs Aliens from DVD last night. The 3D movie starring Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) who is about to get married with the love of her life, Derek Dietl (Paul Rudd) – a weatherman who is very obsessed with his work.

On their big day, Susan is hit by meteorite. Everything still looks normal until Susan goes into the church, the floor tiles is shaking and suddenly she grows into a giant. She is caught and named as Ginormica by the government.

What do you think of renee zellweger in bridget jones diary?

Well, actress Renée Zellweger mentioned that she is ready to play as Bridget Jones again in . Previously Renée Zellweger mentioned about taking a break from the big screen (read: acting) on last 2 months, when she make appearance on the cover of Glamour magazine’s June 2009 edition. The filming is expected to start at the end of this year 2009. Yay!

Renee is in the list of my favorite actresses. She is beautiful in a way that she looks elegant and classy with a sweet smile, that I wished I would grow up to be one lady like her. She is one great actress who is committed to her profession. I salute her for willing to gain 20 pounds for her role in Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001). She was nominated in numerous awards, won Oscar and many more.

The first movie of her that I watched is Jerry Maguire (1996) with the famous line “Show me the money”, where she partnered with Tom Cruise. I didn’t have much impression towards Renee’s acting at that time, except that she has a very warming and beautiful look. After all, I was just a ten year old kid, what did I know about acting and stuff?

In Bridget Jones Diary

The next movies that I watched was The Bachelor (1999) and Me, Myself & Irene (2000). It was after she played as the full-figured Bridget in Bridget Jones’ Diary that I started to notice this blooming Hollywood actress, from her acting to the gossip about her and relationship, because it was the first chic-lit that I bought and like. Then she appeared in Golden Globe Awards and other events in a stunning outfit. This lady has a great fashion sense!

I can’t wait to see Renee Zellweger in Bridget Jones Diary the 3rd sequel.

13 Going on 30, a 2004 chick flick movie, tells the story of a 13 yo girl, Jenna Rink (by Jennifer Garner), whom plays a game on her 13th birthday, and wakes up to find herself growing as a 30 yo woman on the next day.

How Jenna (13 yo) turns into 30 yo woman in one night time
Jenna is having a party and invited Tom-Tom, the popular girl in school, and her gangs. Tom-Tom suggested to play a game, 7 Minutes in Heaven, and locked Jenna in the closet. Her best friend, Matt, comes in the house and when Jenna knows it is him, instead of Chris the popular boy, she gets angry and asks him to leave. She wishes to be 30 and some of the wishing dust from the doll-sized dream house (a present from Matt) spills on her. She wakes up the next morning to find out that she is a 30 years old woman.

The conflicts of being 30
Slowly she discovers that she has turn into a completely different person from the 13-year-old-Jenna. She is no longer befriended with Matt since high school, when she became the Six Chicks’s leader and prom queen.

On the other side, Jenna is working in a magazine called Poise and Lucy (grown up Tom-Tom) is her colleague. Their company is facing a problem as their competitor, Sparkle, has somewhat stolen their articles and covers for several months. That means, somebody in Poise is giving the info for Sparkle.

It is soon known that Lucy is behind the stealing-article-issue. She tricks Matt to sign the release form and sells the idea to Sparkle which makes her becomes their chief executive.

What is the ending of 13 Going on 30
Matt is going to marry his fiance when Jenna shows up last minute. He admits that he does have a feeling towards her but can’t let let his fiance down either and says,”You get everything you want, but not the dream house.”

Jenna gets to keep the dream house but not him. She is crying in the yard when the wishing dust spills on her. *simsalabim* She is back in her closet and being 13 yo. When Matt comes in, she kisses him.

Fast forward, it shows their wedding and the pink dream house.
