Bride Wars, a 2009 romantic comedy movie, is about two best friends – Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Liv (Kate Hudson) whom turn into rivals just when they arrange their respective weddings on the same day.

Fletcher (Chris Pratt), Emma’s boyfriend, proposes to her during their dinner, while Liv finds out a Tiffany ring box from her boyfriend – Daniel (Steve Howey) in her closet. There you go, both of them get engaged.
Problem comes when they schedule their wedding date on June at the Plaza Hotel. Somehow their weddings are booked on the same day, which is 6th June. The rest of the days on June is fully booked. While their fiancΓ©s suggest to have a double wedding, Emma and Liv reject the idea and insist one of them to move the wedding date. But obviously no one want to compromise, cause having the wedding on June at the Plaza Hotel means alot to Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Liv (Kate Hudson) – it’s a childhood story which shown earlier on the movie.
So they begins the war while still continuing their wedding preparations and getting busy to find maid of honors, cause none of their friends wants to be one-sided. The sabotage goes wild. Emma sends chocolate to Liv (sending it under Daniel’s name) hoping that she will gain weight and can’t fit the wedding dress. Liv darkens the spray tanning of Emma so that Emma would turn orangish. And the list goes on.
What is the ending of Bride Wars?
Emma and Liv seems to miss each other but some unfortunate events happen and they just can’t contact each other before the wedding day.
The wedding day finally is here. Emma gets mad when the video shows her on spring break and fights with Liv. Seeing Emma ruins their wedding, Fletcher gets mad and insults Liv which leads to the break up. After he leaves, Emma takes her hair’s barrette and passes it to Liv. She also becomes the maid of honor for Liv’s wedding. During the wedding party, Nate asks Emma to dance.
One year later, it shows that Emma just comes back from her honeymoon with Nate. She have a breakfast together with Liv and both of them is pregnant now and due on March 3.
