During a recent hangout with a long lost friend whom has just moved to this city, she revealed how she hasn’t get used to the living post-moving. That she is missing the previous city where she lived, mainly due to companion. Talk about dinner with a bunch of friends after working hour, jogging time with housemates, shop for portable speakers with colleague and so on. It hits me of how companion plays important role in our life.

Friends, family, spouse, even pets, they are our companion in life. Speaking of which, here’s a movie talking about dog as human’s companion, titled Darling Companion. Of how a woman found a dog in the street and keeps the dog as a pet. Thing goes well until her husband accidentally loses the dog.

Watch the trailer below for Darling Companion.

What’s new in 2012? If you’re into adventure movie that can be watched by the whole family, don’t miss out Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, a sequel to 2008 movie titled Journey to the Center of the Earth. I’m planning a movie date to watch this movie along with shopping for UppAbaby Vista stroller.

Starring Dwayne Johnson as Hank Parsons, he embarks on the journey with Sean Anderson (by Josh Hutcherson) whom is his girlfriend’s son. What is their mission? To look for Sean’s grandfather who seems to be missing after exploring a mysterious island.

Beauty and the Beast

in 3D Cartoon

With so many cartoon movies being produced in 3D, I am still preferred the old-school drawing style. Let’s flash back to the 90s, the era of Disney movie like Beauty and the Beast, Anastasia, etc. I very much prefer the cartoon style at that era. Personal preference eh?

How I wish we have Beauty and the Beast version of kids switch plate covers to complete the posters in the room. :P Talk about childhood memory. My fave character from the cartoon is Lumiere the chandelier. What’s yours?

in Update

Here I am sneaking in the room to write a few lines of blog post after all the turkey’s night. Blurp! The elderly are talking about pentair intellitouch for spa business, not my cup of tea. If I resist to stay in the conversation, they might hear about some story part from Hot Tub Time Machine movie.

Definitely can’t wait for 2012 to come. A lot more fantastic movie around the corner, with the most anticipating one -> The Dark Knight Rises. Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, need I say more?

Anyway, I’m off for dessert. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Movie Soundtrack

by admin on December 8, 2011

in Update

What makes a movie great (to me) isn’t just the storyline, the well-played character, the overall scene, but also what you hear – the music or better known as soundtrack. Not seldom the song will then be played in the radio until it is planted in your mind. It will then lead you to either download or purchase the CDs or even learn to play the tune and buy ebow for guitar. Talk about hardcore fans or the power of marketing. Hah!

Well, do you have any particular soundtrack from a movie that you like?
