When I first hear this movie title, it immediately reminds me of those end-of-world movie like 2012, The Day After Tomorrow, etc. But after read deeper, this remake of 2007 French (Pour Elle – Anything for Her) movie is no where near that topic. Instead, it is about miscarriage of justice.
Storyline of The Next Three Days is about a woman, whom is suspected as a cast in murderer issue. Her husband obviously doesn’t take the accusation just like that. He believes that the love of his life doesn’t commit such an action and tried his best to get her out from jail.
Well, it’s not easy as jail-breaking plastic knobs but he still tries, in the name of love and justice. Watch the trailer below.
Coming on this September, we have a romantic comedy movie with the title The Romantics. You can guess from the title, which is quite to the point, that this movie is starring more than one lovely couple.
The story centers around seven people whom have been friended since college time. Yeah, seven, which makes it sounds like Heβs Just Not That Into You with several in-love couples and also Retreat. I was hoping to see this movie talking about couples on a road trip with RV so I might get a little insight of rv insurance as hubby has been imagining to have one. Oh well, nothing wrong to dream eh?
Anyway, back to the story line, the seven of them gather again after 6 years to attend the wedding of Tom (by Josh Duhamel) and Lila (by Anna Paquin). But alas, the maid of honor had a romantic story with the groom before and thing becomes worse.
Everyone has been talking about how mediocre The Expendables is. Carrying big name of Hollywood action actors with poor storyline and contains some funny line. Probably that’s why there was a young parent whom brought their toddlers along to watch the movie. When I saw them sitting in front of me, I thought we were going to watch Toy Story 3 or maybe Spiderman, you know. But there is just so many fighting, weapon snapping, and blood related scenes that isn’t suitable for kids, let alone toddler.
Back to the movie plot, it is about a group of elite mercenaries who go for a mission. They find jobs just like how we normally do, but it’s not the usual job. You can actually ignore the storyline cause everything in the movie doesn’t really make sense or link to each other. Even if there is a reason behind one’s action, the reason is very weak.
How do you know when you are in love with the person and not just a summer crush? How do you know that you just create a huge trouble? Sometimes it’s hard to define thing. Just like how I walked by a furniture shop, saw the vintage furniture with a beautiful setting, thinking that it’s the type of furniture I want a.k.a love in the first sight. But when I walk by modern furniture shop, I change my mind. There you go.
Well, the question is related to the movie that we’re going to talk about for today. It’s How Do You Know, will be released on December this year. Starring Reese Witherspoon whose heart is in between Owen Wilson the baseball player and Paul Rudd the corporate guy. So, sport man or business man? Watch the trailer below to get the glimpse of the movie. I definitely can’t wait for December to come!
Let’s do a voting of who doesn’t afraid of the dark. I’m sure there’s many like me who can’t be friend with darkness and prefer to stay in orthopedic mattress when there is no light. But if you say you can, that’s a good news, maybe you are the next Kim in the horror movie Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. If the title sounds familiar to you, that’s because it’s a remake from a 1973 TV series with the same title.
In the 2011 version, Katie Holmes will play as Kim. Bailee Madisonwho plays as little girl Sally Hurst who moves in with her father and his girlfriend. She then learns about other creatures living in their house.
The ending of the trailer is quite creepy. Go watch it here and prepare to be frighten out.
